"Warren and Nicola worked with the University of Nottingham’s Graduate School to develop a specific workshop for postgraduate research students which dealt with ‘Presenting Research Data and Information’.  The workshop was carefully designed to complement the existing portfolio of researcher training and to address an area which wasn’t currently covered in the central short course programme.

The workshop proved to be a great success.  In fact, demand for it was so high that the Graduate School had to commission Warren and Nicola to run two sessions because there were so many researchers on the ‘waiting list’!

Feedback on the workshops was very positive.  Participants found the content relevant, interesting and stimulating, they enjoyed the variety of delivery methods and were keen to recommend the workshop to others. The Graduate School was delighted to have worked with Warren and Nicola and hopes to be able to continue working with them in the future."

"Warren and Nicola ran an excellent day of training for the West Midlands Regional Observatory focused on "Communication of information and data through storytelling". They were sensitive to meet the needs of our delegates, and worked hard before the event to listen to us and tailor the course to delegates' needs. The success of this approach was evidenced by over subscription to the event and us having to put in place a waiting list.

I thought that delegates were provided with excellent information, resources and exercises pre and post event. The day itself was a good mix of multi media presentations and "hands on" exercises. Feedback from delegates was very positive, and included comments like, "The training showed me new techniques to engage my audience effectively" and "I found the day really really useful, with lots of tips and simple ideas to make engaging data presentations".
